| Christian Hope Children Centre in Africa
 CHRISTIAN HOPE CHILDREN CENTRE is a religious community registered
self-help group affiliated to LUDCEP PROJECTS and is a non-profit
making organization. Its purpose is to give spiritual, physical and
moral support to the desperate and dying humanity and to propagate
positive values and attitudes and to engender desirable human behavior
and in the process develop practical and acceptable living style to
encounter HIV/ AIDS pandemic and its threat to human race. The deceased
who died of HIV/AIDS gave out the land and some building property for
the enactment of the project before they died in initiating this project.
 There main purpose was to cause awareness to the local rural community
about HIV/AIDS disastrous in these places these was done by
these couple who died in HIV/Aids pandemic for the purpose of
there enactment of these project it was clear for them that even
if they died in these pandemic these project will implement community
/ church projects dealing with comprehensive support program
for orphans who have lost their parents due to HIV / AIDS.
PURPOSE:
CHCC is a community based self Help Project with an aim of addressing
and to give any possible life changing assistance to:
(1) The poor members of the Church and the general community.
(2) The most desperate and hopeless orphans within our reach.
(3) Poor widows
(4) Those infected by HIV/Aids.
The group will look for ways and means of overcoming problems of constrains
and to work on the modalities on POVERTY ERADICATION among the above
indicated persons.
Our Needs:
1. Lack of funds: to run the Orphanage project to reach it`s
purpose i.e. running day-to-day purchase of food, firewood,
and transportation.
2. Illiteracy: among orphans due to little finances to sponsor
their education is also another problem encountered along. Having
unqualified staff and teachers is also another problem.
3. Lack of land and permanent buildings: For all along,we had
been leasing/renting the places where the orphanage center is.This
also affects us reach our church goals of assisting a dying african
orphan
4. Problems of accommodation: A number of children have no where
to stay, mattresses,beds sheets, blankets, etc. We have mercy
upon them but limited by funds. Only 6 children of 15 orphans
at the Orphanage Center are only supported of accommodation.
Others do sleep at their christian guardians.
5. Water and sanitation at the orphanage school. It`s also another
case problem. Water is collected from a far place where water
tanks, taps and boreholes are allocated, which delays orphanage
and other domestic activities like cooking, bathing and it is full
of refuse and needs a new toilet building and repair. Therefore we
appeal to everyone that your monthly donation of US$ 20 will help sponsor
an orphan's education, clothing and feeding and the annually
donation of $ 240 will help save the life of a dying soul of your orphans.
Because of your compassion giving, a toilet at the orphanage center
will be built to allow health life to our lovely orphaned children.
