Donate Medical Supplies, Equipment, Services
and Resources
Our goal at 4 the World is to
implement a plan of action to find medical equipment, supplies,
services and resources to help better equip volunteers in
the medical field at clinics and centers all over the world.
Here in the US, we lead the world in technology and manufacturing.
Unfortunately, we also are the leaders in the amount of pollution
and waste we send to our refuse sites. Many hospitals, medical
centers and medical supply companies here in the states upgrade
and go to new technologies or supplies are deemed unusable
because it is nearing expiration dates. Medical equipment
is dumped or destroyed and sent to landfills. They could have
a new life by being donated directly to the clinics that need
them in third world countries. |

Many of these medical clinics
and field hospitals are being run and staffed by Volunteers
from all over the World. Many of these programs are operated
on limited budgets and the funds are often raised by the
very volunteers that are staffing the projects. Imagine
you’re a doctor or nurse, with the skills and training
to save lives. A child comes to you, desperately weak
and sick ... but you have no medicine for that child.
Every day in clinics overseas, health workers face this
tragedy. It grieves them to turn away mothers who have
walked for hours to bring their sick and dying children
for medical care because they do not have basic medicines
and supplies. They are pleading with us for help. |
