In Quezaltenango, Guatemala 77% of the population
are living in poverty and 45% of kids drop out of school.
These children are facing serious the dangers of child
abuse, exploitation and gang violence. 4 the Worldbelieves that these children need a safe place
to pursue education, health and recreation. 4 the World
has been invited to help construct a safe haven for children
7 to 13 to come to after school. Instead of attempting
to do their studies in a gang infested marketplace we
will provide a space where these children can study and
receive tutoring.
