Public Relations Team

This team requires a strong commitment to learn about 4 the World, our mission and goals, our projects, and what sets us apart from others.

Public Relations Specialists: Experienced public relations professionals to develop and manage the implementation of 4 the World P.R. campaign. The position involves researching the best venues for marketing the organization, as well as writing and submitting custom press releases for each of the markets. Candidates must have strong P.R. experience, with excellent writing and communication skills.

Minimum Commitment: 5-10 hours per week for a period of at least 6 months.

Fundraising

This team requires a strong commitment to learn about 4 the World, our mission and goals, our projects, and what sets us apart from others.

Experienced Fundraising Manager/U.S: We're seeking experienced fundraisers with management skills. Raise funds for Local, State, National and our projects.You will recruit, train, and oversee a volunteer team of fundraisers. Responsibilities will also include assisting in the development and implementation of a fundraising strategy.

Minimum Commitment: 5-10 hours per week for a period of at least 6 months.

Experienced Fundraising Manager/Central American Country: We're seeking experienced fundraisers with management skills. Raise funds for our International humanitarian efforts and our projects.You will recruit, train, and oversee a volunteer team of fundraisers. Responsibilities will also include assisting in the development and implementation of a fundraising strategy.

Skills: previous NPO international fundraising experience preferred.
Minimum Commitment: 5-10 hours per week for a period of at least 6 months.

Fundraising Members/U.S & Central American Country: As a non-profit organization, 4 the World needs the generous donations of our members and supporters. As a member of this team, you'll help develop fundraising strategies, research and identify major corporate and individual gift prospects that will bring us the funds that keep our mission alive. If you have a creative mind and some fundraising experience, share your talents with us!

Minimum Commitment: 5 hours per week for a period of at least 3 months.

Grant writing: 4 the World is seeking only experienced and committed volunteers for this crucial job. Responsibilities will include research to find grants that 4 the World may qualify for and writing the grant proposals.

Marketing Specialists: Develop and implement marketing and fundraising strategies targeted to individuals and corporations; research funding opportunities and write proposals.

Medical - Health Care Professionals

Medical Care Professionals: To work on Volunteer Medical Teams and Volunteers Medical Projects. Some positions will require a passport traveling to Belize, Guatemala and Costa Rica. Looking for Volunteers for Planning, Management as well as specific team staff and support staff. Experience working in field clinics or with other medical teams or medical projects is a plus. Contact our Medical Project Director, the Executive Director or VP of Development.

Skills: MD, RN, and other health care professionals as well as DDS, Medical, dental staff, support staff, and project directors for these teams.

Disaster Relief Program personnel: Design and implement aspects of the 4 the world mergency relief plans and programs. Build and manage Emergency Relief staff, as well as search and rescue teams made up of experienced professionals to send at time of need.

Skills: Management, Planners, Fundraisers, Logistics, experienced RedCross or other agency Disaster Relief experience. Or other skillls in the emergency relief, Disaster releif EMS or similar field with similar qualifications. Please send comments along with resume and list of experience and accomplishments.

Finance/Accountant/Bookkeeper

Experienced Bookkeeper: To take full charge of our volunteer organization. Monitor and process finances as required, record amounts due from assessments, pledges, advertising, fundraisers, etc in both MARKS and QuickBooks. This position requires a good understanding of accounting mechanics and principles, and the ability to operate independently and solve recurring problems. Have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to interact effectively with congregants and staff members, and adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.

Skills: QuickBooks, and conceptual understanding of membership database software, excellent written and verbal communication skills, mathematical, analytical and conceptual skills that contribute to accuracy in the daily bookkeeping tasks and monthly account reconciliation’s.

Experienced Webmaster: We are currently seeking a professional web designer to re-design our current website. Ideal candidates will have professional experience as web designers, with excellent knowledge of java script, HTML, CSS, FTP, and search engine optimization. Candidates should possess great attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to be creative!
